I am Irish and living in Spain for over three years. One of the best days of work I've ever had was the day we were taken out by Manolo to see the area, his projects and some of his clients.

I was amused to observe Manolo stop numerous times en route to talk and joke with workers and clients alike. It is obvious that he is held in great respect with all of the people in the area. He is invited into the homes of his clients for dinner, and they regard him as a friend. The day out to do this research brought me back to times gone by in Ireland, passing through little Irish villages in the 1970's where people would wave to you, and given the opportunity talk to you.
